Good morning everyone. I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. We are so lucky today! Mia Karp, a blogger and a photographer, sent us a beautiful postcard of the northern lights she has witnessed in Iceland. If you read this blog on regular basis you might be familiar with another postcard Mia sent to us recently from much warmer place.

This is Mia said about today’s photo:

When you travel to Iceland in the winter you have a high chance of seeing the Aurora Borealis at night but what we didn’t expect to see was an Aurora storm with a Kp7. Kp5 is average and a Kp7 is very high and rarely seen. The vibrant storm went on all night and it was, by far, the coolest thing I have ever witnessed.
Thank you, Mia for this lovely photo. Seeing Aurora Borealis has been a dream of mine for a very long time. I never seen it properly, although it happened once when I still lived in Scotland. Not us incredible the one you have seen though. I guess I need to plan a trip soon to Iceland.
