Hello everyone, I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday full of adventures or a relaxing time with a good book. Whatever you are doing, I wish you lots of enjoyment.

Today we got a Sunday postcard sent to us by Maritha and her husband:

My husband and I quit our jobs to take a break from our regular working life and moved to France for several months. We have spent most of our time in Paris and now Bordeaux, but recently took a road trip through France. One of our stops was the Luberon village of Roussillon. The city is situated on huge ochre deposits. We walked the trail through these brilliantly colored cliffs – it was really stunning and unlike anything else I’ve seen in France. This picture reminds me that France is so much more than just the Eiffel tower and croissants (but those are good too) and that there is still so much to discover.

Thank you, Maritha, for such a lovely photo. I hope you enjoying France as much as possible.

Maritha and her husband document their travels on their blog Sabbatical of Sorts and Instagram (@marithaindurthy), so make sure you have a look there for some inspiration.

If you’d also like to send us a postcard and give us some travel inspiration, we would love to hear from you. You can get all the information here and here. To see the other postcards that have been sent to us by so many wonderful readers, click here.
