Indoor skydiving: fulfill a dream of flying.

“The moment you doubt whether you can fly, you cease for ever to be able to do it.” J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan

Discover Madrid beyond typical attractions

Madrid is a beautiful city, but in my opinion a little bit underestimated. Many times I’ve heard people saying that it is just a big, busy city with not much to see. I admit that I was not really keen on visiting Madrid for a long time, there was always a more attractive option to fly to. The first time, however I visited Madrid, I got hooked. There were many trips afterwards until it become my part time home.

Contradicting all the opinions about Madrid as boring or lacking interesting places, I will repeat for a hundredth time that Madrid if full of things to do and places to see. No, no, those are not just empty words, I already told you a few stories from Madrid in the past and I could tell many more. You can imagine many things to do in Spain, right? Like wandering cute cobbled streets, drink coffee or tinto de verano in a terrace coffee place, admire the architecture, eat typical food or visit museums. I recently discovered a very unusual activity to do in Madrid: indoor skydiving. I was really glad it is there as I love the idea and there is not that many places to do it, even though its popularity seems to be growing.

Indoor skydiving experience in Madrid

The first time I heard of the indoor skydiving was a while ago from a fellow travel blogger. I thought it was so cool and since I have been dreaming about skydiving forever now I was really keen on trying it. I know it is not exactly the same, but at least a little taste of what it is like up there in the air. When Windobona in Madrid invited me to try it, I was really happy. The simulation of outdoor skydiving they create is incredible. It gives us a chance to try a free fall in a vertical tunnel that simulates the real skydiving, but it is risk free.
