Why you should go to Costa Rica

1. Beautiful Beaches

With 210 km of the coastline on the Caribbean coast and over a thousand on the coast of Pacific, Costa Rica will give you many choices when it comes to beaches. There are white sand asylums, stone heavens, black sand long beaches excellent for long walks. Something for everyone. The water is warm and pleasant all year around, which will satisfy such cold-haters like me.

2. The Weather

Costa Rica is a tropical country. There’s no winter and freezing cold temperatures. It rains a lot during the rain season, but even then it is warm and there’s sun coming out almost every day of the year.

3. The Wildlife

The wildlife in Costa Rica is incredible. Imagine, you go for a normal Monday morning walk and you see monkeys jumping from tree to tree, toucans munching on a fruit, parrots babbling or crocodiles patiently waiting for their lunch. The list goes on, you can meet there lizards, tree frogs, dolphins, sloths and many many more.

In total Costa Rica has 500000 species, which is 4% of the worldwide buy total. It is a lot for such a small country. But watch out, those cheeky monkeys will steal your snacks if you aren’t careful enough. You managed with the monkeys? Well, racoons are not any better. Good luck.

Ok, a little bit more of the statistics here. The whole country is made up of 25% of rainforests. You can trek there or join walking tours in the jungle or do something more adventurous like canopy or zip-lining tours. Whatever you chose, you can be sure that you will meet many tropical animals on the way.

Costa Rica is a haven for nature enthusiasts, boasting a network of national parks and reserves. Explore the mesmerizing Monteverde Cloud Forest, the vibrant Manuel Antonio National Park, or the remote Corcovado National Park, each offering unique ecosystems and a chance to spot diverse wildlife.

5. Eco-tourism

Costa Rica aims to reduce environmental damage to minimum and inspires tourists not to leave a footprint while traveling.
